Decayed Woman’s Body Found in Apartment Water Tank

Last February, a beautiful and intelligent psychology graduate and aspiring actress was reported missing. Her family feared that the 27-year-old brunette beauty Carmen Yarira Esparza Noriega had been abducted to be used as a sex slave; not unlikely, as Mexico is well known for its large underground of sex trafficking.

Before her abduction, Esparza Noriega lived at the Grand Chapuletepec. Three weeks ago, residents began complaining that the water tasted bad. When the apartments looked into the matter, a woman’s badly decomposed body was found floating inside their water tank.

Police were able to identify the body as Esparza Noriega’s because of breast and hip implants; her family also identified the body as the missing woman on Christmas Eve.

A friend of Esparza Noriega’s, 30-year-old Javier Paz, told the Daily Mail: “She was a talented and beautiful woman who dreamed of being an actress. When she failed to turn up at the clinic where she worked, we all thought that she might have been kidnapped and sold off into the sex trafficking industry. But it seems that her body was back in her apartment block the whole time.”

An investigation continues as police try to determine her cause of death.
